You taught me How to love by day Hate by night Then I learned to trust by day To find liars by night You wanted me To go by day Come home by night Then I learned to stay away by day Stay away farther by night I taught myself to love the sun by day To worship the moon by night To teach myself to live without you To live with myself With nothing but the sky

I still want you, I still long for your body when I sleep at night.
I still want you, through fights and fights and fights I’d fight more to make everything right.
I still want you, because I’ve had you the longest,
The fear that it won’t work out compete with my lust which is the strongest.

girl: your new girlfriend is pretty. (i bet she stole your heart)
boy: yeah, she is. (but you’re still the most beautiful girl i know)
girl: i heard she’s funny & amazing. (all the stuff i wasn’t)
boy: she sure is. (but she’s nothing compared to you)
girl: i bet you know everything about her by now (like how you knew just about everything about me)
boy: only the stuff that count (i can’t even remember the stuff she tells me when i think of you)
girl: well, I hope you guys last. (because we never did)
boy: i hope we do too. (whatever happened to me & you?)
girl: well i got to go. (before i start to cry)
boy: yeah me too. (i hope you don’t cry)
girl: bye. (i still love you)
boy: later. (i never stopped)

life is what you make it
kayyeljones:
give it a shot, take a chance, dare to be different, be spontaneous, live it up, dream big, make mistakes, fall in love and become living proof that anything is possible.
it’s up to you to make it happen.

Who I am is not who I was in the past and not who I want to be in the future, but I am okay with that. And as simple and underachieving as that sounds, it did take a lot of work for me to be okay. If nobody else congratulates me on it, I still do, nonetheless. It’s good for now. Okay is good for now. Much better than not okay.

Who is she?
She is around you more than you may ever realize. She is the girl in line at the grocery store. She is the girl sitting next to you at work. She is the girl on the other end of the phone when you call customer service. She is the girl standing at the mailbox just waiting and hoping there is a letter, amongst all of the bills, with his name in the top left...
